PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bearing device for a wheel, which deadens vibrations, transmitted into a cabin, by suppressing a road noise, while securing rigidity of the bearing device for the wheel.SOLUTION: On an inner-side lateral surface 6c of a wheel attachment flange 6, a petal-like rib 13 becoming a thick part is formed in a circumferential equidistribution position by forge processing. A vibration control member 14 made of synthetic rubber is integrally joined to a lateral surface except the rib 13 by cure adhesion. Thus, vibrations can be rapidly suppressed by the firstly-transmitted wheel attachment flange 6 on a road noise communication channel.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】車輪用軸受装置の剛性を確保しつつ、ロードノイズを抑制してキャビン内に伝達される振動を小さくした車輪用軸受装置を提供する。【解決手段】車輪取付フランジ6のインナー側の側面6cに、円周等配位置に厚肉部となる花弁状のリブ13が鍛造加工によって形成され、リブ13を除く側面に合成ゴムからなる制振部材14が加硫接着により一体に接合されているので、ロードノイズの伝達経路上の中で最初に伝達される車輪取付フランジ6で振動を速やかに抑制させることができる。【選択図】図1
