PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition for a tire, having improved low heat generation property and mechanical property.SOLUTION: Carbon black of 30 to 70 pts.wt. having nitrogen absorption specific surface area of 125 to 150 m/g is blended with 100 pts.wt. of a rubber composition composed of: 55 to 100 wt.% of a masticated natural rubber master batch in which 0.3 to 5.0 wt.% of a specific compound represented by the general formula (i) co-exists with 40 wt.% or more of a natural rubber and/or isoprene rubber and optionally 100 wt.% of a diene rubber containing butadiene rubber; and a butadiene rubber, a natural rubber and an isoprene rubber of 45 to 0 wt.% in total, the rubber composition containing the natural rubber and the isoprene rubber of 55 to 100 wt.% in total and optionally the butadiene rubber of 45 to 0 wt.% in total.SELECTED DRAWING: None
