PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air bag and a folding method of the same which allow an air bag main body part to get in a lower abdomen of an occupant easily without increasing the number of components.SOLUTION: A lower roll part 52 includes one guide parts 52b positioned between a lower roll part main body 52a folded in a roll shape and a fitting plate part of a cover body, and the other guide part 52c positioned between the lower roll part main body 52a and a front plate part of the cover body. An upper roll part 51 is folded in a state different from the lower roll part 52. Expansion and development of the upper roll part 51 is delayed than the lower roll part 52, and gas introduced in an air bag main body part 30 is preferentially flown to the lower roll part 52. The lower roll part main body 52a is lifted by expansion of the one guide part 52b to effectively get over a door part. The lower roll part main body 52a is pushed from above by expansion of the other guide part 52c to guide downward. The air bag main body part 30 is allowed to get into a lower abdomen of an occupant without increasing the number of components.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】部品点数を増加させることなく乗員の下腹部へとエアバッグ本体部を入り込ませやすいエアバッグ及びその折畳方法を提供する。【解決手段】下側ロール部52は、ロール状に折り畳んだ下側ロール部本体52aとカバー体の取付板部との間に一の案内部52bを位置させ。下側ロール部本体52aとカバー体の表板部との間に他の案内部52cを位置させる。上側ロール部51は、下側ロール部52と異なる状態に折り畳む。上側ロール部51は下側ロール部52よりも膨張展開が遅れてエアバッグ本体部30に導入したガスを下側ロール部52へと優先的に流す。一の案内部52bの膨張により下側ロール部本体52aを持ち上げて扉部を効果的に乗り越えさせる。他の案内部52cの膨張により下側ロール部本体52aを上方から押さえて下方へと案内する。部品点数を増加させることなく乗員の下腹部へとエアバッグ本体部30を入り込ませやすい。【選択図】図1
