PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a passenger car seat which unfailingly transmits an impact load received from one side part of a seat, which is located at a vehicle body side wall side, to a vehicle body side wall located at the opposite side during a lateral collision even if having a structure where frame arrangement is different between a driver seat and a passenger seat and thus installation positions of reinforcement members in the respective seats are different.SOLUTION: In a seat of a passenger car, a reinforcement member is formed including: a metal pipe; a flat plate fixed to an end surface of the metal pipe, which is located at a door side of the passenger car; and a side collision bracket covering an end part of the metal pipe, which is located at the opposite side of the end surface located at the door side of the passenger car and faces an adjacent seat, and fixed to the metal pipe. The side collision bracket includes: a side wall bracket formed by a metal and covering the end part of the metal pipe; a reinforcement pipe which fits in a recessed part of the side wall bracket formed in a direction parallel to the metal pipe to which the side wall bracket is fixed and prevents deformation of the side wall bracket during a side surface collision; and a lid bracket covering the side wall bracket and the reinforcement pipe.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4

    【課題】運転席と助手席とでフレーム配置が異なりそれぞれの席の補強部材の設置位置が異なるような構造の場合であっても、側面衝突の際に車体側壁側の座席の一方の側部から受けた衝撃荷重を反対側の車体側壁に確実に伝達することを可能にする。【解決手段】乗用車のシートにおいて、補強部材を、金属製のパイプと、金属製のパイプの乗用車のドア側の端面に固定した平板と、金属製のパイプの乗用車のドア側の端面とは反対側の隣接するシートに面した側の端部を覆って金属製のパイプに固定した側突ブラケットとを有して構成し、側突ブラケットは、金属で形成されて金属製のパイプの端部を覆う側壁ブラケットと、固定する金属製のパイプと平行な方向に形成された側壁ブラケットの凹部にはめ込まれて側面衝突時に側壁ブラケットの変形を防止する補強パイプと、側壁ブラケットと補強パイプとを覆う蓋ブラケットとを備えて構成した。【選択図】図4
