PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition enabling a tire to combine ice and snow performance with wear resistance, a production method thereof, and a tire which can be easily produced and can combine ice and snow performance with wear resistance.SOLUTION: The production method of a rubber composition of the present invention is a production method of a rubber composition containing 100 pts.mass of (A) a rubber component containing a styrene-butadiene copolymer rubber of 80 mass% or more, (B) a filler containing 80 to 130 pts.mass of silica having nitrogen adsorption specific area of 85 m/g or more and less than 120 m/g, 5 to 15 pts.mass of (C) a silane coupling agent, (D) at least one of thiourea and diethyl thiourea and (E) a vulcanizer, and includes a kneading step of kneading the rubber composition through a plurality of stages, the kneading step includes a first kneading stage of kneading a part or all of 100 pts.mass of the (A) rubber component, the (B) filler containing the silica of 80 pts.mass or more, 2 pts.mass or more of the (C) silane coupling agent and (D) at least one of the thiourea and the diethyl thiourea and a second kneading stage of kneading the kneaded product prepared by kneading in the first kneading stage with the (E) vulcanizer after the first kneading stage.SELECTED DRAWING: None

    【課題】タイヤの氷雪性能及び耐摩耗性を両立できるゴム組成物及びその製造方法、並びに、容易に製造することができ、且つ、氷雪性能及び耐摩耗性を両立できるタイヤを提供する。【解決手段】本発明のゴム組成物の製造方法は、スチレン−ブタジエン共重合体ゴムを80質量%以上含むゴム成分(A)100質量部;窒素吸着比表面積が85m2/g以上120m2/g未満のシリカ80〜130質量部を含む充填剤(B);シランカップリング剤(C)5〜15質量部;チオウレア及びジエチルチオウレアの少なくともいずれか(D);及び加硫剤(E);を含むゴム組成物の製造方法であって、該製造方法は、前記ゴム組成物を複数段階で混練する混練工程を含み、該混練工程は、前記ゴム成分(A)100質量部、前記シリカ80質量部以上を含む充填剤(B)、前記シランカップリング剤(C)2質量部以上、及び前記チオウレア及びジエチルチオウレアの少なくともいずれか(D)の一部又は全部を混練する第1の混練段階と、前記第1の混練段階の後に、前記第1の混練段階における混練によって調製された混練物と前記加硫剤(E)とを混練する第2の混練段階を含むことを特徴とする。【選択図】なし
