PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic sensor for vehicle in which vibration of an ultrasonic vibrator is hardly transmitted to a case body and a vehicle body and which can maintain stable detection performance and assembling dimensional accuracy, and a distance detector for vehicle having the ultrasonic sensor for vehicle.SOLUTION: A large number of recesses 213 are formed on an inner peripheral surface 211 of a holding cylinder part 21 of a cushion member 20. The recesses 213 are cavities having six substantially regular triangular downward inclined surfaces and opening in the substantially regular hexagonal shape on the inner peripheral surface 211. The recesses 213 in the substantially regular hexagonal shape are intermittently arranged at a constant pitch along the orthogonal direction orthogonal to the axial direction and the oblique intersection direction obliquely intersecting the axial direction.

    【課題】超音波振動子の振動がケース体や車体に伝達されにくく、安定した検知性能と組み付け寸法精度を維持できる車両用超音波センサ、及びそのような車両用超音波センサを備えた車両用距離検出器を提供する。【解決手段】クッション部材20の保持筒部21の内周面211には、多数の凹部213が形成されている。これらの凹部213は6つの略正三角形状の下り傾斜面を有し、略正六角形状で内周面211に開口する窪みである。これら略正六角形状の凹部213は、軸線方向に対して直交する直交方向及び軸線方向に対して斜めに交差する斜め交差方向に沿って、それぞれ一定のピッチで断続的に配置されている。【選択図】図9
