PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic drive assist system, and automatic drive assist method and program capable of allowing a driver to preliminarily recognize the possibility that automatic drive may be canceled before automatic drive is canceled.SOLUTION: Included are position specification information acquisition means that acquires position specification information for use in specifying the position of an own vehicle that is traveling, continuity index acquisition means that acquires a continuity index, which represents a degree to which automatic drive can be continued, on the basis of the position specification information, first degree-of-continuity decision means that decides based on the continuity index, which is acquired via the continuity index acquisition means, whether automatic drive cannot be continued, and utterance control means that extends control so that, if the first degree-of-continuity decision means decides that automatic drive cannot be continued, a guide phrase implying that automatic drive cannot be continued can be uttered.
