PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve fan efficiency, in a blower having a flat centrifugal multi-blade fan.SOLUTION: A blower comprises a centrifugal multi-blade fan 12 which has a large number of blades 121 around a rotating shaft A1, sucks in air from the inside of a radiation direction, and blows out the air to the outside of the radial direction, and a casing 13 for accommodating the centrifugal multi-blade fan 12. In the centrifugal multi-blade fan 12, a diameter of a region which is formed of the blades 121 is set as d1, a height in a direction of the rotating shaft A1 of the blades 121 satisfies a relationship of d1/h1≥5, a suction port 131 for sucking air is formed in a region at a one-end side in an axial direction of the centrifugal multi-blade fan 12 out of the casing 13, an air flow passage 132 in which air blown out of the centrifugal multi-blade fan 12 flows is formed in a region at the outside of the radial direction rather than the centrifugal multi-blade fan 12 out of the casing 13, and the casing 13 has an inclined part 135 which expands to at least either of the one-end side in the axial direction and the other end side in the axial direction as progressing toward the outside of the radial direction.
