PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular control apparatus capable of appropriately controlling an inter-vehicle distance control function, a vehicular stoppage maintenance function and an idling-stop function, without causing a feeling of discomfort to a user.SOLUTION: A vehicular control apparatus 100 includes: inter-vehicle distance control means 41 for performing inter-vehicle distance control relative to a preceding vehicle; engine stop-start means 42 for stopping an engine in a case where an engine stop condition is met and starting the engine in a case where an engine start condition is met; and vehicle stop state maintenance means 43 for maintaining braking-power to stop a vehicle. Further, the vehicle stop state maintenance means operates in the case of the inter-vehicle distance control means stopping the vehicle, causing the engine stop-start means to stop the engine. The apparatus further includes engine operation control means 44 for maintaining, in the case of the inter-vehicle distance control means being set, an engine operation status that has been set before the inter-vehicle distance control means is set.

    【課題】ユーザに違和感を与えることなく車間距離制御機能、停車維持機能、及び、アイドリングストップ機能を適切に制御可能な車両用制御装置を提供すること。【解決手段】先行車両との車間距離制御を行う車間距離制御手段41と、エンジン停止条件を満たす場合にエンジンを停止させ、エンジン始動条件を満たす場合にエンジンを始動させるエンジン停止始動手段42と、車両を停車させる制動力を維持する車両停車状態維持手段43と、を有し、前記車間距離制御手段が車両を停車させた場合に前記車両停車状態維持手段が作動することで、前記エンジン停止始動手段がエンジンを停止させる車両用制御装置100であって、停車状態で前記車間距離制御手段がセットされた場合、前記車間距離制御手段がセットされる前のエンジン運転状態を維持するエンジン運転制御手段44、を有することを特徴とする。【選択図】図1
