A board for riding on water, made of absorbent foam, and having a stabilizer attached to either side of the board. The board preferably has a skeleton or frame made of rods. The stabilizers may be attached to the main body of the board by rods, or may be joined as part of the board. The stabilizers are preferably oblong shaped foam. The majority of the board is preferably between 5 and 20cm thick, most preferably 9cm thick, and there is a section of around 26cm thickness towards the rear of the board. In use, the foam body of the board absorbs water to provide stability. The device is similar to a surfboard or body board.
