The invention relates to a system and method intended to provide a mechanism that allows the high-level planning of flight control boards that use the MAVLink protocol, executing dynamic flight plans with full autonomy, while adapting to the conditions of the aircraft and the environment. The system is based on any flight controller that uses the MAVLink protocol and executes an autonomous flight planning method, with the ability to provide a layer of functionality that does not exist in current flight controllers. The method can be used to execute a high-level flight plan, the behaviour of said plan developing in a manner dependent not only on the condition of the aircraft but also of the surrounding environment.
