A method of controlling an aerial vehicle comprising: controlling the rotation of all rotors of a multi-rotor assembly during cruise of the aerial vehicle to cause the multi-rotor assembly and a fixed wing to jointly provide lift to the aerial vehicle (S110); controlling the rotational speeds of a plurality of rotors of the multi-rotor assembly to adjust the attitude of the aerial vehicle during cruise of the aerial vehicle (S120); controlling the rotational speeds of at least one normal rotor of the multi-rotor assembly to control the attitude of the aerial vehicle (S130) when at least one rotor fails, adjusting the rotational speed of at least one normal rotor to control the attitude of the aerial vehicle (S130). The method is capable of improving the maneuverability of a vehicle having a rotor and a fixed wing. A control device, an aerial vehicle, and a storage medium are also provided.
