The present invention relates to wing (4) for an aircraft (1), the wing (4) comprising: a wing element (5) having a wing pressure side (8); a flap (40) arranged at the wing element (5), the flap (40) having a flap suction side (41) and a flap pressure side (42), wherein the flap (40) is adapted to divide a main flow into an upper main flow essentially around the flap suction side (41) and a lower main flow essentially around the flap pressure side (42); and a blower means (50) arranged at the wing pressure side (8) upstream of the flap (40) and adapted to energize the upper main flow by a greater extent than the lower main flow, when the flap (40) is not in a retracted position.
