A marker detection device which detects a magnetic marker laid in a road by using a sensor unit (11) in which a plurality of combinations of a magnetic sensor (Sn) and a magnetic-field generation coil (Cn) are arranged includes a storage part (112) which stores characteristic information of each magnetic-field generation coil (Cn), an estimation part (112) which estimates a magnetic differential value A acting on the magnetic sensor (Sn) due to a current differential value A acting on the magnetic-field generation coil (Cn) by referring to the characteristic information of each magnetic-field generation coil (Cn), and a calibration part (112) which calibrates each magnetic sensor (Sn) so as to enhance uniformity in sensitivity, which is a ratio between an output differential value A of the magnetic sensor (Sn) in accordance with a change of a current by the current differential value A acting on the magnetic-field generation coil (Cn) and the estimated magnetic differential value A.
