A motor vehicle (1) is provided with a front frame structure (2) having a pair of struts (22), which are mutually symmetrical with respect to an ideal vertical centreline plane; the motor vehicle is provided with a safety device (40) to turn at least one front wheel (R) transversely to a travel direction (A) during a frontal collision with an obstacle (51); the device (40) is borne by an intermediate portion (41) of a strut (22) and has an arm (43) that protrudes laterally outwards and is able to rotate between an inactive position, in which the arm (43) has a free end (47) arranged in a position aligned with and spaced from the wheel (R) along a longitudinal direction (D) parallel to the travel direction (A); and an active position, in which said free end (47) comes into contact with the wheel (R) in an inclined direction (F) so as to cause the wheel (R) to swerve; in the inactive position, the rotation axis (45) is arranged longitudinally between the free end (47) of the arm (43) and the wheel (R).
