The invention discloses a climbing robot for ship wall surface cleaning, and belongs to the technical field of ship cleaning, and the climbing robot comprises a cleaning disc and a walking mechanism; the cleaning disc comprises a cleaning disc body; the cleaning disc body comprises a first shell and a second shell, and the first shell and the second shell are connected in a sealed mode through a flexible folding assembly. A circle of rubber sealing gasket is arranged at an opening in the bottom end of the cleaning disc body. A sealing brush is arranged at the bottom end of the rubber sealing gasket. The top end of the first shell and the top end of the second shell are each provided with a rotary nozzle. Adjusting assemblies are arranged on the left and right sides of the cleaning disc body. A walking adjusting assembly is arranged between the two walking wheel assemblies. When the adjusting assembly promotes the second shell to descend relative to the first shell, the walking adjusting assembly promotes the walking wheels to descend relative to the first shell. Self-adaptive fitting of the wall curvature can be achieved, and therefore the probability that sewage is splashed out between the cleaning disc body and the ship wall and the probability that a robot walking mechanism disengages from the ship wall and walks unstably are reduced.
