本发明实施例公开了一种停车场车辆识别方法及装置,其中,该方法包括:停车场入口地面上设置多个图标,以驶入停车场方向为向前方向,将位于最后排图标记为第一图标,将位于最前排图标记为第二图标,检测停车场入口的图标,当未检测到第一图标时,则开启车辆识别功能,若识别到第一当前车辆,则基于第一图标和第二图标,对第一当前车辆进行追踪,以识别第一当前车辆是否驶入停车场。本发明通过图标识别车辆驶入情况,图标的设置不需要进行地面施工,安装简单,大大简化了安装复杂性以及降低成本,其次,当未检测到第一图标时才开启车辆识别功能对车辆进行识别,可以避免长时间车辆识别功能的开启,可有效地节约资源。
