The embodiment of the invention provides a cooling abnormity identification method for a vehicle power module, and relates to the field of electric vehicles. The method comprises the following steps: acquiring burying point data of a plurality of vehicles; according to the electric drive signal of each vehicle and the driving state signal of each vehicle, determining an actual temperature parameter of each vehicle and a data characteristic time sequence of each vehicle; obtaining an electric drive fitting curve characteristic table of each vehicle; according to the preset electric drive working condition parameters of each vehicle, the electric drive fitting curve characteristic table of each vehicle is adopted for temperature parameter fitting, and reference temperature parameters of each vehicle are obtained; and according to the reference temperature parameter, the actual temperature parameter and the data characteristic time sequence of each vehicle, performing cooling abnormity identification on the power module in each vehicle to obtain a cooling abnormity risk parameter. According to the method, the cooling abnormity identification speed of the vehicle power module can be improved under large-scale train number data, and the anti-interference capability, precision and stability are improved.
