The invention provides a battery pack stability detection method and system for a new energy automobile, and the method comprises the steps: synchronously carrying out the thermal infrared shooting and visible light shooting of a battery pack in the repeated and alternate charging and discharging process of the battery pack, and obtaining a thermal infrared image and a visible light image of the battery pack; analyzing the thermal infrared image to obtain working heat divergence characteristic information of the battery pack so as to determine a heat dissipation abnormal area of the battery pack shell; analyzing the visible light image to obtain action state information of the abnormal heat dissipation area so as to judge whether the abnormal heat dissipation area belongs to a mechanical unstable area or not, accurately identifying the thermal deformation state of the battery pack shell, and determining a weak thermal deformation area of the shell; based on the distribution characteristic information of all mechanical unstable areas, whether the structure of the battery pack is stable is judged, and a charging/discharging operation critical event of a mechanical safety accident of the battery pack is estimated, so that the charging and discharging stability of the battery pack is comprehensively and accurately analyzed.

    本发明提供用于新能源汽车的电池包稳定性检测方法和系统,在电池包反复交替进行充电和放电过程中对所述电池包同步进行热红外拍摄和可见光拍摄,得到电池包的热红外影像和可见光影像;分析热红外影像,得到电池包的工作热量发散特征信息,以此确定电池包外壳存在的散热异常区域;再从可见光影像分析得到散热异常区域的动作状态信息,以此判断散热异常区域是否属于机械不稳定区域,对电池包外壳的热变形状态进行准确识别,确定外壳的热变形薄弱区域;基于所有机械不稳定区域的分布特征信息,判断电池包是否结构稳定,还估计电池包发生机械安全事故的充电/放电操作临界事件,从而对电池包的充放电稳定性进行全面准确分析。
