The invention discloses a method for detecting the posture of a lifting hook of a crane, a controller and the crane. The method comprises the following steps: acquiring working condition data of the crane in a current working state, calculating ideal supporting leg counter-force of each supporting leg of the crane according to the working data in the current working state, and acquiring actual supporting leg counter-force of each supporting leg of the crane in the current working state, and determining the lifting hook posture of the crane in the current state according to the relationship between the ideal support leg counterforce and the actual support leg counterforce of each support leg. The swing posture of the lifting hook is associated with the counter-force of the supporting legs of the crane, the posture of the lifting hook of the crane is determined through the ideal supporting leg counter-force and the actual supporting leg counter-force of the supporting legs in the current operation state of the crane, the detection process is simple, no complex mechanical structure needs to be added, the limitation of the arrangement space is small, the overall cost is lower, and the structure is simpler.
