The tilt test method comprises the following steps: calculating a tilt moment; allowing arrangement points and moving weights; formulating a moving scheme for moving the heavy object; arranging an inclination angle measuring device; the initial floating state information of the floating body is read and recorded, the initial floating state information comprises draught T, a heeling angle Heel and a trim angle trima, then the moving heavy object is moved according to the formulated moving scheme, the reading of the inclination angle measuring device is read and recorded every time the moving heavy object is moved, and the inclination angle measuring device is used for measuring the inclination angle of the floating body; calculating to obtain barycentric coordinates Gi (xgi, ygi, zgi) after the moving weight is moved at the current time; and calculating the barycentric coordinates: averaging the barycentric coordinates Gi (xgi, ygi, zgi) obtained by multiple times of calculation, and calculating to obtain the barycentric coordinates G (xg, yg, zg) of the empty ship of the floating body.
