The invention discloses a traffic early warning method based on an artificial intelligence indication board and a traffic indication board, and the method introduces a machine recognition technology into the traffic indication board, enables the traffic indication board to collect images at different angles of an intersection in real time, and can recognize pedestrians and/or non-motor vehicles in the images in real time. Therefore, a multi-view fusion image of pedestrians and/or non-motor vehicles at the intersection is generated; therefore, the traffic sign can judge whether the pedestrians and/or the non-motor vehicles have traffic safety risks or not according to the multi-view fusion image, and when it is judged that the pedestrians and/or the non-motor vehicles have the safety risks, a warning lamp on the traffic sign is actively lightened to warn the pedestrians and/or the non-motor vehicles; therefore, the active safety early warning function is achieved based on the traffic sign, the traffic early warning effect can be greatly improved, and the method is suitable for large-scale application and popularization in the field of traffic early warning.
