The invention discloses a balancing device for an underwater glider and a using method of the balancing device, and belongs to the technical field of ocean exploration. The balancing device comprises a base, a fulcrum shaft, a weighing sensor, a torque sensor and a carrying component; the two ends of a fulcrum shaft with the horizontal axis are installed on the base through shaft seats. The weighing sensors are installed at the two ends of the fulcrum shaft and used for detecting the downward pressure of the ends of the fulcrum shaft. The torque sensor is mounted at the end part of the fulcrum shaft and is used for detecting the torque of the fulcrum shaft; the carrying component is fixedly installed on the fulcrum shaft and provided with a bearing part, and the bearing part is used for carrying the underwater glider with the axis parallel to the axis of the fulcrum shaft. According to the balancing device, by means of introduction of the sensor technology, high accuracy, high efficiency and multi-dimensional adjusting capacity are achieved. The device has the advantages of being simple in structure, high in flexibility and easy to maintain, and the device becomes a practical solution meeting the balancing requirement of the underwater glider.
