The invention relates to the technical field of dye transportation, and provides an automatic dye conveying method which comprises the following steps: S1, arranging an automatic dye weighing system in a dye room, arranging a chemical vat and a dye vat in a dyeing workshop, and arranging an AGV (Automatic Guided Vehicle) between the dye room and the dyeing workshop; s2, making the water-soluble film into a packaging bag; s3, the dye automatic weighing system feeds the dye into a packaging bag; s4, the sealed packaging bag is loaded into a material loading container; s5, the material carrying container is carried to an AGV; s6, the AGV trolley is transported to a transfer area of a dyeing workshop; s7, the material carrying container is taken away from the AGV, and then the packaging bag is inverted into a material separating cylinder; s8, adding water into the material melting cylinder, and stirring to obtain dye liquor; and S9, pumping the dye liquor in the chemical vat into the dye vat. The device has the advantages that long-distance dye liquor conveying through a pipeline is omitted, point-to-point accurate delivery is achieved through AGV trolley conveying, and pollution caused by unclean pipelines during dye conveying is avoided.
