The invention discloses an intelligent sewage disposal system and method for floating objects on the water surface. The system comprises a decontamination equipment management module, a decontamination point management module, an image acquisition and identification module, an early warning module and an operation self-starting module. The method comprises the following steps: S1, regularly collecting and event collecting image data through a camera; s2, the collected images are stored, and an image database is established; s3, object detection and classification are carried out on the acquired image, and floating object identification is carried out; s4, extracting water surface floating object area data of the image and comparing the water surface floating object area data with a set threshold value; and S5, triggering automatic decontamination. According to the invention, artificial intelligence and a big data technology are combined, a set of complete intelligent sewage disposal solution information system is established, and the system solves the problems of high cost, low efficiency and poor management of manual sewage treatment. The intelligent sewage disposal equipment is integrated, water surface garbage is recognized through artificial intelligence, an instruction is given to control the intelligent sewage disposal equipment to automatically perform automatic sewage disposal operation, and the system is efficient, intelligent and environmentally friendly.
