The invention relates to the technical field of automobile air conditioner control, and discloses an electric air conditioner energy-saving control method and device which comprises a temperature control module electrically connected with an electric air conditioner system of a vehicle. The temperature control module comprises a detection unit, an acquisition unit and an intelligent adjustment unit; the detection unit is used for detecting the on-off state of an A/C switch of the electric air conditioning system; the acquisition unit is used for acquiring a temperature control requirement, an in-vehicle temperature and an out-vehicle temperature; the intelligent adjusting unit is used for starting and stopping a PTC in the electric air conditioning system according to the temperature control requirement and adjusting the heating power of the PTC. The heating effect of the electric air conditioner system of the new energy vehicle can be dynamically adjusted, the air conditioner energy consumption can be effectively reduced, and the cruising ability of the new energy vehicle is improved; and meanwhile, the comfort experience of the user is guaranteed.
