Radar detection is integrated for prediction. The invention relates to an advanced driving assistance system and an autonomous driving system for a vehicle. For example, the present disclosure provides a computer-implemented method for a driving assistance system of a vehicle. The method includes determining a plurality of detection points obtained by a sensor, the detection points associated with a plurality of sections of an area of interest of the vehicle and representing objects in the plurality of sections. The method further includes, for each of the plurality of segments, encoding a plurality of detection points associated with the segment as potential features of the detection points, and determining a fixed feature of the segment based on the potential features of the plurality of detection points. The method further includes encoding the fixed features of the plurality of segments to obtain spatial correlations of static detection points between the segments, the spatial correlations of the static detection points being indicative of characteristics of a driving lane of the vehicle. The spatial correlation of the static detection points is then provided to a driving assistance system.
