The aluminum alloy material comprises the following chemical components: 10.5%-13.0% of Si, 0.75%-0.9% of Fe, 0.005%-0.02% of Sr, 0.01%-0.05% of RE, 0.002%-0.02% of B and the balance of Al and other inevitable impurity elements with the total amount not exceeding 0.3%, and the single impurity element does not exceed 0.05%. The preparation method comprises the following steps: smelting raw materials of Al, Si and Fe, sampling, testing components, and adjusting the content; adding a refining agent for refining, and then adding a B-containing raw material for boronizing V, Ti and Cr; after the upper melt is converted into a converter, a refining agent is added for secondary refining, and then Al-Sr-RE composite modification treatment is carried out; and then ingot casting is carried out. By means of component design, transition element removal, deep composite modification of the second phase and the like, the heat conductivity of the casting is improved.
