The invention discloses an air intake and exhaust device for an aerostat and a control method of the air intake and exhaust device. The air intake and exhaust device comprises a fan assembly and a valve assembly. The fan assembly comprises a shell and an impeller assembly which are coaxially arranged, the shell comprises a fan shell and a motor shell, and a first motor used for driving the impeller assembly to rotate is arranged in the motor shell; the valve assembly comprises a valve body, a valve seat, a valve cover, a transmission part and a connecting rod, one end of the valve body is fixedly connected with the fan shell, the other end of the valve body is fixedly connected with the valve seat, and a second motor used for driving the connecting rod to rotate is arranged in the valve seat; the transmission part is fixed to the valve deck, one end of the connecting rod is connected with an output shaft of the second motor, and the other end of the connecting rod is in transmission connection with the transmission part. When the connecting rod drives the transmission part to move, the transmission part drives the valve deck to move between the first position close to the valve seat to open the air inlet channel and the second position away from the valve seat to close the air inlet channel, and integration and miniaturization of the air inlet and exhaust device are improved.
