The invention discloses an unpowered suspension conveying method for installing a photovoltaic power generation assembly on a steep hillside, which is characterized in that a rail steel wire rope (7) is connected to a rail steel wire rope starting point connecting lug (5), and the other end of the rail steel wire rope is arranged from bottom to top along the hillside, movably penetrates through a rail steel wire rope penetrating lug (4) and then is arranged from top to bottom along the hillside; the steel wire rope is connected to a rail steel wire rope end point connecting lug (6); a fixed pulley (11) is connected to the slope crest stand column (1); a first double-wheel moving trolley (8) is movably arranged on the rail steel wire rope between the slope top stand column and the ditch bottom first stand column (2), and a bound photovoltaic panel (15) is connected to the first double-wheel moving trolley in a hanging mode. A second double-wheel moving trolley (9) is movably arranged on the rail steel wire rope between the slope top stand column (1) and the ditch bottom second stand column (3), and a bound counterweight plate (16) is connected to the second double-wheel moving trolley in a hanging mode; the photovoltaic panel transportation efficiency is improved; and the breakage rate is reduced.
