The multi-shaft flatcar braking system comprises a pull rod type braking beam assembly and a main braking control assembly. The pull rod type brake beam assembly is used for braking or releasing wheels of the flatcar. The main brake control assembly is arranged on a flatcar and comprises a flatcar train pipe, a brake pipeline, a brake cylinder and an air channel control mechanism, the brake pipeline is connected with the flatcar train pipe and the brake cylinder, and the air channel control mechanism is arranged on the brake pipeline and comprises a 103E distribution valve, a working air cylinder and an auxiliary air cylinder. The brake cylinder is in transmission connection with the input end of the pull rod type brake beam assembly. When the flatcar train pipe is in an air leakage state, the 103E distribution valve conducts air paths of the auxiliary air cylinder and the brake cylinder, and the pull rod type brake beam assembly is controlled to brake wheels. When the flatcar train pipe is in an inflation state, the 103E distribution valve disconnects air paths of the auxiliary air cylinder and the brake cylinder, the brake cylinder releases pressure, the input end of the pull rod type brake beam assembly resets, and the pull rod type brake beam assembly releases wheels.
