Based on the characteristic of large curvature of a ship molded line, different chamfer angles are designed at different positions according to the water flow direction and the transverse gradient of the end part of an opening, and the multi-curvature optimized drag reduction type lateral propeller diversion trench is designed by applying multi-curvature transition and optimization. The method has the advantages that the cutting output of the structure is reduced, the strength of the structure is reserved, and the safety of the structure is guaranteed. According to CFD software comparison, under the specific navigational speed working condition of a real ship, the pressure near the side thrust hole is reduced through the flow guide grooves, and the overall ship resistance can be reduced by 3.2%.
