The battery assembly is electrically connected with the circuit board; the sensing detection assembly is arranged at the bottom end of the shell, and the sensing detection assembly is connected with the circuit board; the circuit board is provided with a self-destruction module, and the self-destruction module comprises a water leaving detection circuit and a booster circuit; the detection end of the water leaving detection circuit is provided with a first electrode and a second electrode, the output end of the water leaving detection circuit is connected with the input end of the booster circuit, and the output end of the booster circuit is connected with a self-destructed target; under the condition that the drifting buoy leaves the water body environment, the first electrode and the second electrode are in an open circuit state, the water leaving detection circuit outputs a self-destruction signal to the booster circuit, and the booster circuit applies high voltage to a self-destructed target so as to damage the self-destructed target. The drifting buoy provided by the invention is convenient to arrange on the ocean, and the problem of monitoring data leakage during use of the drifting buoy can be ensured.
