The method comprises the following steps: detecting an induction signal sent by a target charging pile; analyzing the detected induction signal, and adjusting the pose of the mowing robot according to an analysis result until the orientation of a charging metal sheet of the mowing robot is adaptive to the position of a charging interface in the target charging pile; and continuing to move towards the target charging pile according to the adjusted pose so as to complete the pile charging operation. Therefore, according to the method provided by the embodiment of the invention, the angle and the distance of the mowing robot are subjected to detail adjustment according to the received sensing signal and the signal analysis of the sensing signal, so that accurate pile charging is realized.
