A fluid delivery conduit connecting two large tankers is described in which a suspended line end manifold is connected to the end of an outlet tubing assembly to provide support during traction. The manifold is located near the buoy and then connected to the bottom of the buoy on the sea surface by a flexible lead, such as an anchor chain. The manifold is then selectively immersed to sink it to an operational position below the buoy, connecting additional subsea hoses or flexible tubes to complete a streamlined passage to the buoy.
