The invention discloses a torque distribution method of a hybrid power vehicle and the hybrid power vehicle. The method comprises the steps that the current running state parameter and the running road surface state of the vehicle are obtained, the current hybrid power system working mode of the vehicle is determined, and the working mode can be a battery driving mode or a series driving mode or a parallel driving mode; adjusting the working mode of a hybrid power system of the vehicle according to the driving state parameters, and determining a target torque distribution mode of the vehicle according to the driving state parameters and the driving road surface state, the distribution mode can be a dynamic distribution mode for preferentially guaranteeing the utilization rate of the road adhesion coefficient of the vehicle or an economical distribution mode for guaranteeing the comprehensive efficiency of the vehicle; and distributing output torque to the vehicle according to the adjusted working mode of the hybrid power system and the target torque distribution mode. The technical problem that the driving experience of a user is affected due to the fact that only economical efficiency is considered and dynamic performance is neglected for vehicle torque distribution in the related technology is solved.
