The invention relates to the technical field of vehicle charging, and provides a fuel charging control method and device, electronic equipment and a readable storage medium. The method comprises the following steps: acquiring fuel charging gear information, peak charging power of a battery in a preset time and range-extending maximum allowable power generation power, wherein the fuel charging gear information is used for indicating range-extending power generation power required by charging; according to the fuel oil charging gear information, the peak charging power of the battery within the preset time and the maximum allowable range-extending power generation power, a fuel oil charging mode is determined, and the fuel oil charging mode comprises the step that range-extending power generation is controlled according to the minimum value of the maximum allowable range-extending power generation power and the peak charging power of the battery within the preset time. Or range-extending power generation is controlled according to the range-extending power generation power required by power supplement; and according to the fuel oil charging mode, range extension is controlled to generate power with the generated power corresponding to the fuel oil charging mode, so that a battery of the vehicle is charged. According to the embodiment of the invention, the problem that equipment is easy to damage in the vehicle charging process is solved.
