The invention provides a traffic light operation control method and system based on visual big data, and the method collects and analyzes the pedestrian passing image of the position where a traffic light is located, obtains the pedestrian representation data, and is used for carrying out the comprehensive real-time recognition of the road crossing state of a pedestrian at the position where the traffic light is located. Therefore, a pedestrian passing sub-data set related to different pedestrian features is obtained, reliable and rich training data is provided for subsequent model training, and the matching between a pedestrian flow prediction model and an actual pedestrian state is ensured. Based on a pedestrian flow prediction model, pedestrian motion information of the position of the traffic light is predicted, different working time intervals are defined for the traffic light, and the traffic light can have different working states under different pedestrian flows on the road by taking the motion condition of the pedestrian crossing the road as a reference; the time interval differentiation control of the traffic light is realized, the lighting state of the traffic light is controlled, and the flexibility of traffic light operation control and the matching with the actual traffic state are improved.

    本发明提供基于视觉大数据的交通灯运行控制方法和系统,其采集与分析交通灯所在位置的行人通行影像,得到行人表征数据,用于对交通灯所在位置的行人穿越道路状态进行全面实时识别,以此得到关于不同行人特征的行人通行子数据集,为后续模型训练提供可靠丰富的训练数据,保证行人流量预测模型与实际行人状态的匹配性;再基于行人流量预测模型,预测交通灯所在位置的行人运动信息,并对交通灯划定不同的工作时段区间,以行人穿越道路的运动情况为基准,使得交通灯能够在道路处于不同行人流量下具有不同的工作状态,实现对交通灯的时段区分化控制,控制交通灯的灯光照明状态,提高交通灯运行控制的灵活性和与实际交通状态的匹配性。
