A flange according to one embodiment of the present invention is an annular flange having a corner portion and a side portion, and is provided with: a first flange member having a corner forming portion for forming the corner portion; and a second flange member that has a side forming portion that forms the side portion, and that is joined to the first flange member. The corner-forming section is provided with: an arcuate surface that has a predetermined radius of curvature and forms the inner peripheral surface of the corner section; and an extending portion extending in a direction away from an end portion of the arc surface and joined to the side forming portion. The joining part of the extension part and the side forming part is separated from the end part of the arc surface by a separation distance or more set on the basis of the radius of curvature and the width of the side forming part.
