The invention provides a method and device for determining a vehicle braking sensitivity mode, braking parameters of a vehicle at a first moment are obtained, and the braking parameters comprise at least one of the following parameters: the vehicle speed, the accelerator opening degree change rate, the brake pedal stroke, the brake pedal stroke change rate, the steering wheel angle, the steering wheel angle change rate and the whole vehicle acceleration; determining a second braking sensitivity mode according to the braking parameters at the first moment; and controlling the vehicle according to the second brake sensitivity mode. According to the method, the required braking sensitivity mode can be determined in real time according to the braking parameters in the vehicle running process, the vehicle is controlled, the braking sensitivity mode of the vehicle is automatically switched to the required braking sensitivity mode, and it is guaranteed that the braking sensitivity mode of the vehicle is always matched with the vehicle condition. Therefore, under the condition that the driver does not actively switch the braking sensitivity mode, the braking sensitivity experience matched with the current driving scene can be obtained, and the driving experience of the user is improved.
