The invention relates to the technical field of automobiles, in particular to a method and device for improving deceleration loss, a vehicle and a storage medium, and the method comprises the steps that the current front wheel speed and the current wheel acceleration of the vehicle are obtained; the current road condition of the vehicle is recognized according to the current front wheel speed and the current wheel acceleration, and the current road condition comprises a bumpy road condition which cannot cause vehicle instability; and if the current road condition is a bumpy road condition which does not cause instability of the vehicle, the deceleration of the vehicle is maintained within a second preset range by maintaining the energy recovery torque of the vehicle within a first preset range. Therefore, the problem that deceleration is lost due to the fact that function false triggering is not considered when the vehicle passes through the bumpy road surface and the deceleration strip in the energy recovery mode in the prior art is solved.
