The invention discloses a friction damper and a tower crane, relates to the field of tower cranes, and aims to reduce the overturning probability of the tower crane. The friction damper comprises a shell, a sleeve, a rod piece and a first friction piece. The shell comprises a first through hole penetrating through the length direction of the shell and a first wall hole, and the first wall hole is formed in the circumferential direction of the shell and penetrates through the wall body of the shell. The sleeve comprises a first counter bore and a second wall hole; the open end of the first counter bore is located in the first through hole, and the closed end of the first counter bore is located outside the first through hole. The second wall holes are formed in the circumferential direction of the sleeve and penetrate through the wall body of the sleeve; and the first wall hole is communicated with the second wall hole. One end of the rod piece is inserted into the first counter bore, and the other end of the rod piece is located on the outer side of the first counter bore. The first friction piece is mounted in the second wall hole; the first friction piece makes contact with the outer wall of the rod piece. According to the technical scheme, the overturning moment caused by relative movement of the to-be-damped component can be effectively consumed, and the overturning danger is reduced.

    本发明公开了一种摩擦阻尼器以及塔式起重机,涉及塔机领域,用以降低塔机倾覆的几率。摩擦阻尼器包括壳体、套筒、杆件以及第一摩擦件。壳体包括贯穿自身长度方向的第一通孔以及第一壁孔,第一壁孔沿着壳体的周向布置,且第一壁孔贯穿壳体的壁体。套筒包括第一沉孔以及第二壁孔;第一沉孔的敞口所在的一端位于第一通孔中,第一沉孔的封闭端位于第一通孔的外部;第二壁孔沿着套筒的周向布置,且第二壁孔贯穿套筒的壁体;第一壁孔和第二壁孔贯通。杆件的一端插入到第一沉孔中,杆件的另一端位于第一沉孔的外侧。第一摩擦件安装于第二壁孔中;第一摩擦件与杆件的外壁接触。上述技术方案能有效消耗待减振部件相对运动带来的倾覆力矩,降低倾覆危险。
