The invention discloses a hoisting height distance automatic monitoring and alarming device and a using method, the hoisting height distance automatic monitoring and alarming device comprises a mounting base, a magnetic attraction base is embedded in one side of the mounting base and is in magnetic attraction connection with a hoisting arm of a crane, the surface of the other side of the mounting base is connected with a sleeve of a tubular structure, and the inner wall of the sleeve is connected with an annular protruding structure to serve as a bearing seat; a bearing is mounted in the bearing seat and rotationally matched with the main shaft; the main shaft is connected with the distance measuring mechanism and the rotation aligning mechanism. The device solves the problems that a crane in the prior art cannot accurately monitor the lifting height data in real time and collision accidents are easily caused by visual observation, and has the characteristics of being portable, movable and mounted, adaptive to cranes of different models, capable of automatically monitoring the lifting height data in real time and capable of avoiding safety accidents.
