The method comprises the steps that when the range extender in the vehicle is in an on state, state parameters are obtained, the state parameters comprise test state parameters and current state parameters, and the state parameters are state parameters of an engine connected with the range extender; an oil mass correction program is obtained according to the current state parameters, the oil mass collection value collected by the oil mass sensor is corrected through the oil mass correction program, and the remaining oil mass actual value is updated; obtaining a conversion rate correction coefficient according to the test state parameters, and correcting a first driving oil-electricity conversion rate obtained when the vehicle runs on the preset road section by adopting an oil quantity correction program to obtain a comprehensive oil-electricity conversion rate; and determining the real fuel endurance value of the vehicle based on the actual value of the remaining fuel quantity and the comprehensive fuel-electricity conversion rate. According to the method, the accuracy of the real fuel endurance value of the vehicle can be improved, the advantages of the extended-range vehicle are fully played, and the anxiety of fuel endurance of a user is relieved.
