The invention discloses a zone controller configuration method and related equipment, relates to the field of vehicles, and mainly aims to solve the problems that the arrangement of wire harnesses between a zone controller and vehicle peripheral equipment is more complicated and the safety is lower along with the increase of the whole vehicle wire harnesses. The method comprises the following steps: determining vehicle peripheral equipment information, wherein the vehicle peripheral equipment information comprises equipment importance level information; and associating the vehicle peripheral equipment of which the equipment importance level is higher than the preset level to a hardware interface of an area controller arranged in a vehicle position range of which the vehicle collision level is lower than the preset collision level. The method is used for the regional controller configuration process.
