The invention relates to a whole vehicle mass estimation method and device, electronic equipment and a storage medium, and relates to the technical field of commercial vehicle mass estimation.The method comprises the following steps that in the driving process of a target vehicle, a first target moment and a second target moment are obtained; based on the angular velocities of the transmitter crankshaft of the target vehicle at the two target moments, an acceleration difference value between the first target moment and the second target moment of the target vehicle is obtained; based on the torque difference value of the engine at the first target moment and the second target moment, the traction force difference value of the two target moments is obtained; and obtaining the mass of the target vehicle based on the acceleration difference value and the traction force difference value. The mass of the target vehicle can be estimated only through the angular velocity of the engine crankshaft and the engine torque of the target vehicle, and the angular velocity of the engine crankshaft and the engine torque of the engine can be measured in real time, so that the method is less dependent on parameters, needing to be measured in real time, of the vehicle; and the mass of the vehicle is accurately estimated in real time.
