The invention discloses a GIS equipment deformation defect automatic detection method based on unmanned aerial vehicle three-dimensional laser point cloud data. Comprising the steps of first-time data collection, first-time section model construction, first-time overall model construction, first-time error data elimination, first-time section fault analysis, second-time data collection, first-time abnormal coordinate calibration, second-time section model construction, second-time overall model construction, second-time error data elimination, second-time section fault analysis and first-time overall fault analysis. The method overcomes the defects of conventional manual detection, two-dimensional visual processing, a multi-element sensor, a satellite navigation system and other methods for detecting the deformation defect of the GIS equipment, and enables the automatic monitoring of the deformation defect of the GIS equipment to be more accurate, convenient and economical, thereby achieving the purpose of improving the operation reliability of the substation equipment.
