The invention provides a method and device for controlling a charging indicator lamp through a new energy automobile LIN bus, electronic equipment and a computer readable storage medium. The method comprises the steps that a battery management system detects the connection state of a direct current charging gun through a CC2 hard wire; the vehicle-mounted charger detects the connection state of the alternating current charging gun through a CC/CP hard wire; the whole vehicle controller receives the charging state, the power battery SOC, the direct current charging gun connection state and the alternating current charging gun connection state information sent by the battery management system and the vehicle-mounted charger through the CAN bus, judges the charging process stage and then sends an indicator light control instruction through the LIN bus to control the color and the flicker frequency of a charging indicator light. According to the embodiment of the invention, the problem that the control interface of the current charging indicator lamp is single can be solved, the problem that the interface of a main control unit (VCU) needs to be customized and developed is solved, and the cost is reduced; the problem of function solidification of the current charging indicating lamp is solved, function expansibility is high, and various requirements of main engine plants are met.
