The invention provides a 3000t crane ship crane load test method, which comprises the following steps of: 1, determining that the maximum weight of a 3000t crane load test is 1.1 times of a rated load; 2, two square barges with the total weight exceeding 3300 t after full stowage are selected, each square barge comprises a plurality of ballast tanks, one square barge is a large square barge, and the other square barge is a small square barge; thirdly, the empty large barge and the empty small barge are transferred to a crane ship; 4, water with different volumes is selected to be pumped in, so that the weight of the square barge hoisted by the 3000t crane reaches the weight of twelve working conditions of a 3000t crane load test, and the square barge is hoisted through a large square barge sling and a small square barge sling which are used for hoisting a large square barge and a small square barge respectively on the 3000t crane; and 5, after the 3000t crane load test is completed, water in the small barge and the large square barge is emptied, and the small barge and the large square barge are hoisted off the ship through the 3000t crane for the test. According to the invention, the effects of reducing the test cost and improving the test safety are achieved.
