The invention discloses an acousto-optic synchronous linkage method. The method comprises the following steps: receiving a working mode selected by a user; receiving a sound signal from a media source; the sound signal is converted into a light signal, and the light signal is at least related to frequency information in the sound signal; converting the sound signal into an audio signal; and executing the selected working mode by using the light signal and the audio signal. According to the sound and light synchronous linkage method, the music playing state and the atmosphere lamp in the automobile can be combined, real-time sound and light integrated output is achieved, the atmosphere created by the atmosphere lamp and the sound effect is fully played, and then the using effect of the atmosphere lamp in the automobile is greatly improved.
